About Annie
Graduated from Witzo High School of Art and Design in Tel Aviv, Israel. In 1976 I received my Associate degree in Fashion Illustration from Chameberlyn Junior College in Boston. There I designed the stage props for the fashion shows, as well, as illustrated the garments in the show, which were displayed in the building.
In 1980, I received my Bachelors degree in Fine Art from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY. I was hired to teach in the Youth Skills and Discovery summer art program on campus, until I begun teaching art at a Junior High School also in Brooklyn. In 1985 I received my Masters in Art Ed. from Queens College.
I was fortunate to have shared my love of art with students of all ages, while continuing to work on my own art. Over the years, I begun working on commissions, which included portraits, specifically nudes, and used a variety of mediums, such as Pastels, Charcoals, Acrylics, plaster and hand made paper.
I am now retired from the NYC Board of Ed. and happy to be able to fully emerge in my personal art.
